This was a piece that caught me by surprise. Our family was on vacation in Boston during the Summer. We were eating ice creams wandering around Swan Park when I saw this willow glowing in the dappled sunlight. I snapped a quick photo and as soon as I got back to the hotel started doing preliminary sketches for it.
