Fit for a statley garden, the Classic Lion Fountain can enrich your setting. A decorative top sculpture provides a waterspout that pours water down four sides of a center base. Each side is adorned with a detailed sculpture of a noble lion’s head spouting water from an open mouth. An octagonal basin and base create a bold statement to this beautiful piece.
Crafted from cast stone and finished by hand, this high-quality fountain will last for years and comes complete with a re-circulating pump.

Winter Care for Your Fountain
Many fountain materials expand and contract in response to temperature and humidity changes, making winter protection essential. If temperatures drop below 32°F or humidity levels shift significantly, follow these steps to safeguard your fountain:
- Bring Indoors (If Possible): Move your outdoor fountain inside for the winter to protect it from harsh conditions.
- Store in a Dry, Covered Area: If bringing the fountain indoors isn’t possible, store it in a dry, covered location.
- Remove Internal Components: Move any removable parts (e.g., stoppers, tubing, lights, pump) indoors. The pump can remain in the fountain if fully drained, wrapped in plastic bags, and insulated with towels to keep it dry. However, bringing it inside is recommended.
- Drain Completely: Prevent water from collecting anywhere in the fountain, as freezing and thawing can damage the pump and crack the fountain structure. Remove drain plugs to ensure complete drainage.
- Elevate the Fountain: If storing indoors or in a dry location isn’t feasible, raise the fountain off the ground to prevent freezing and cracking at the base.
- Cover Properly: Use a breathable cover, not plastic, to avoid trapped moisture. Ensure the cover is taut so snow and water don’t accumulate, and tie the bottom securely around the fountain.
