This unique fountain is built with various metal types to last for decades!
The example in this image has black slate finish copper on the back panel, RC-1 finish on top and stainless basin.
Fountain can be made with Copper, Stainless or Corten Steel. See samples in gallery.
The example shown is 8ft wide x 4ft tall, with 12 scuppers for water flow, but we can do any size.
4ft wide x 4ft tall, above ground, with 6 scuppers: $8995.00
8ft wide x 4ft tall, above ground, with 12 scuppers: $13,995.00
8ft wide x 6ft tall, above ground, with 12 scuppers: $16,995.00
FYI: Scupper Size: 3″ long x .5″ tall x 1.5″ out
Built with copper to give it the oxidized, rustic look. Can be done with Copper, Stainless or Corten Steel. Comes with pump, auto fill, and stainless catch basin for water.
Stainless Basin is to be buried under ground. You place rocks on top of removable stainless panels on basin. You pick out and supply your own rocks. Water, pump and auto fill device are contained in the underground basin. Example here has basin false bottom 6″ below top of basin. We can build it with panels level with basin top, or at ground level.
4ft wide version: Basin is 50″ long x 30″ wide x 12″ deep
8ft wide version: Basin is 98″ long x 30″ wide x 12″ deep
Normally these fountains go against a wall or fence.
But if you need a decorative back panel to match the front, see price in drop down menus.
Note: Due to the normal properties of copper, the patina will change over time. This is normal and expected. May people prefer the natural aging of the copper patina. But if you want your feature to hold its color longer, use a metal sealant such as everbrite. Follow instructions provided by sealant manufacturer.
Just like rust develops on iron, patina develops on copper when the copper sulphate on the surface interacts with oxygen in the environment. Importantly, unlike rust which corrodes iron, patina actually protects and preserves the copper underneath.
See examples in gallery of copper colors that can be done.
