The Fountains.com Crystal Sphere is a clear acrylic globe that fills from the inside. Water is pumped up through the center, rises to the crown and then spreads across the entire outer surface in a thin sheet, so the sphere looks like moving glass. Because the acrylic is transparent, the fountain changes with the light around it — bright and reflective at midday, softer at dusk, and a natural candidate for accent lighting after dark.
It is built as a system rather than a standalone ornament. Six sphere diameters are offered, from a 20-inch accent for a courtyard or lobby up to a 48-inch centerpiece for a commercial entrance. Each size is matched to its own square or round steel basin, sized so the sheeting water lands inside the basin footprint, and to a pump rated for that sphere. Basins come in black powder coat or brushed stainless steel.
Each fountain is fabricated to order in Oregon. The kit arrives complete with the sphere, basin, pump, plumbing and an auto-fill float valve, and it can be used indoors or outdoors as an above-ground feature.

Installation & Ownership Notes
- Spheres 30" and larger are made in two halves and joined during assembly; a thin seam line is normal and does not affect performance.
- Acrylic must not freeze. In cold-winter regions, remove the sphere and store it indoors for the season; in milder regions, shut the pump off and let the sphere drain when temperatures may drop below 32°F. Freeze damage is not covered by the warranty.
- Cover or protect the sphere during significant hail.
- The included auto-fill float valve can be connected to a water line to keep the basin topped up automatically.
- Optional accessories (RGBW or warm-white spotlights, UV sterilizer with filter, drain sump pump) are available on request; ask our team for current pricing.
