The Mandalay takes its name from Myanmar's former royal capital and borrows its ornament from the tropics. The bowl is oval rather than round, and and its lower half is wrapped in broad, sculpted fronds that curl up toward the rim. A single bubbler rises in the center of the bowl, so the carving stays the focus while the water adds quiet movement and sound.
Standing 31 inches tall on a 24½-inch base, it is sized as a ground-level garden piece: tall enough to be seen above low planting, low enough to look into from a nearby bench or patio chair. The leaf detailing makes it a natural companion for Asian, Balinese and tropical-style gardens, and for courtyards planted with palms, ferns, bamboo or broad-leaved perennials.
Fiore Stone hand-casts the Mandalay from cast stone concrete in Nevada. It ships in three pieces and assembles using Fiore Stone's tiered/pedestal fountain method. A 525 GPH recirculating pump with a 16-foot cord is included, so no plumbing is required. It is pictured in Natural and is made to order in the Fiore Stone finish you select.
